  • Comments: Great race would do it again. My only complaints: The transition area was tight, to many people where assigned to each rack, making it very difficult to set up gear. The food @ post race would have been great after a cross country ski race, but it wasn't, it was hot, and the post race food was hot pulled pork, baked potatoes, and hot mixed vegitables. I tried some later and it was good, but all I wanted was cold water melon, cantalope, and a grape icy. Race link (you can see my Bike mistake on the map, run the Map Player its the 1st T in the coarse going south, didn't use multisport mode): http://trail.motionbased.com/trail/invitation/email/accept.mb?sende...

  • Comments: This was my one year anniversery doing tris. Even though I blew up on the run, looking back I see just how far I've come in this sport. Thanks to the BT'er that sent me inspires over the last year, and Special thanks to TriDDS in helping to calm my nerves in the last week before this race. Much appreciated. Course was good, with a few gripes. 1. Needed better milage markers on both the bike and run 2. Ran out of water at some run aid station 3. Food mostly gone for us BOPers Having watched them set up since Friday, I have a new respect on what goes on behind the scenes to put on a HIM. I'll be back next year.

  • Comments: Well I got my finisher's medal, but it feels empty because of the failure of my body. I am proud of my mental effort and the fact that I did not quit.

  • Comments: Good race. Lots of volunteers on the course. My family went to the talk by Dick Hoyt the night before - it was great to meet him and listen to his story. The Race was well run and the people were helpful.

  • Comments: Aside from a few small things, I thought these guys did a top notch job with lots of course support, well marked courses and a cool venue. Highly recommended!
