  • Comments: Enjoyed it! More to come; will rerace this course in Aug so I will have a good comparison on my fitness level and preparedness.

  • Comments: More volunteers would be helpful for the event. I was not too fond of the turn around within the first 50 meters of the course. It definitely kills the momentum. For my second race, it was a good benchmark. I volunteered for the Playtri Festival in June, so I got a discount on my race entry. If it was not for the discount, I do not think the event was a good value. For a beginner, this course provides a good challenge and highlights areas for improvements.

  • Comments: The lack of volunteers was a problem. The referee on the motorcycle almost took me out on the bike portion. Park was pretty active with non-participants. Swim buoys were all over the place. I'm not sure what was going on there. Post race activities were non-existent for the most part. I signed up late so it wasn't great for the money. If I registered early it wouldn't have been so bad. SWAG bag was pretty lame. Mostly advertisements.
