  • Comments: This race is great for spectators. The Tri Lakes Tavern is just across the road from the transition area. My parents came to watch me and they were able to set out on the tavern's deck and have drinks and listen to a live musician while I was out on the course. There were some discrepancies between the race organizer's information on their website and the information provided on the Active.com registration page - like what time packet pickup and the race began. Also some of the information on Active page was wrong (though not contradicted on the organizers website) - like the claim that there would be assigned transition spots. Some information on the race organizer's website was also wrong - like the claim that you would have a choice between a wave start or a time trial start (which I thought was odd anyway). All that misinformation just irks me.
