  • Comments: This was the 10th anniversary for this race and the 8th time I have done it. It's a local race. Weather is usually great but we have has freezing (40) with sideways rain and 80-90s. The medals are awesome and the finish has beans and rice, burgers (for the carnivores) and BEER. who doesn't like drinking a beer or two at the beach after a hard run?

  • Comments: Race was good but need to plan for heat and how it will affect you. Hydration is key to survive. Lack of nutrition was disappointing. This was firat race so not sure what norm is but compared to HIM they had very little for nutrition
