  • Comments: The mile markers were WAY off on this course. For both the 10k and 5k races. My wrist watch showed over 14:00 when I hit mile marker 2. Thought my race was down the drain. But I averaged 6:35. I found the same kind of thing during the 10k. the down hills were very hard on my body. Beat the crap out of my feet, toes and knees. My left knee is hurt. Trauma to the quad tendon and some fluid under the kneecap. This is due to the downhills being too steep to let go and required lots of running with the brakes on.
