  • Comments: Most likely will NOT do this run next year. It's always hot as hell and, being that it's in the afternoon, it just kind of wastes the day for you. In addition, the course is no fun with all the concourse traversing. Seeing yourself on the big screen is pretty cool though!

  • Comments: A pretty good race, considering the conditions (it was hot) and the course (it was all over the place). I bested my previous 10k PR time by nearly 1 1/2 minutes. I think I could've come in sub 46:00 had I just started a bit closer to the front of the pack (I started in the 8 min/mile corral because I was talking with some friends who were all there), and not had to deal with all the bottlenecks, traffic that permeated the first mile plus of the race. Overall though, I met my sub-47:00 goal, so I can't complain too much. Next year, I'll try for around 45:00.
