  • Comments: this is a new route for Kiwanis. because of the angle of the sun, runners coming off the trail couldn't see the finish chute. I was so surprised when my name was called for the first-place medal! That really made this race for me. Also the fact that I ran for the first 33 minutes... training has been very difficult since the half marathon

  • Comments: radios at start/finish & water station poured water down my back: nice & cool organizer forgot they had finisher medals to hand out till 3/4 of runners were in appreciated the "sweep" bicyclist :)
