  • Comments: Unbeknown to me, my solid performance not only had me first in my AG, but 2nd female overall. I have never felt so elated after a race. I had to wait several agonizing hours to find out if any unknown person had been put in a later wave. Fortunately not. I felt like a celebrity afterwards LOL. You can probably tell I don't get O/A awards very often so this was a huge buzz. I am so totally proud of my performance and the effort I put in - especially on the run. What a great day.

  • Comments: All in all a good day and a great bunch of people. Thinking with swapping over from a hybrid to a road bike I should be able to see some good improvements in my bike times for next year and with continued swimming focus hoping to drop another 15 seconds/hundred off of my swim times. Definitely think that I could pick up 3 minutes in this race for next year, maybe more. If so, that time this year would have placed me top 3 in my age group for next year. We will see...
