  • Comments: It is a great location with pretty ocean and nice houses. It is unfortunate that the turnout. Word from the race directors wife is that if the turnout doesn't improve, they'll have to cancel this event. That would be a real shame as it is a good spot for a race. This was also my first win so this race will have to go down as one of my favorites.

  • Comments: Not sure why there is such a poor turnout for this race. The course is fun and pretty scenic. It seems to be pretty well organized. There were plenty of volunteers and great support throughout the course. Maybe the ocean swim in mid June is keeping people away, also the fact that it was Father's day seems to be a factor. I think that if the moved it to later in the summer, there would be a bette turnout.

  • Comments: The safety concerns on the bike course and the way they handled 'later' finishers rubbed me wrong. They also only had Gatorade and water available on the course and I think that gels or something should be available for longer events like this.

  • Comments: A fun race! I did much better than I expected on the swim and bike, but slightly worse than I expected on the run. It would have been nice if the website included the run course.
