  • Comments: Inaugural Race in BAD weather made for a challenging run. Race started a few minutes late, but due to people pouring out of the tent, the director decided to wait for them to get out hence the few minutes later start. Yes, there will be kinks to be worked out, but I really enjoyed it overall. Huge heated party tent afterwards was fun. Just needed water in the tent as well as the cash bar. ;) Also am VERY grateful that RMS was willing to take on the challenge of putting on a longer distance winter running event since NO ONE ELSE in Richmond has one. Was AWESOME getting to train for a longer distance in the winter. I really enjoyed it.

  • Comments: HATED IT. Will not ever do again, even with RMS's mea culpa e-mail this morning. They screwed up royally and they know it.

  • Comments: February is a crapshoot with the weather, but, then again, it's better than 95 deg. First time they did this race. Pretty views, but some significant hills and stairs. This was the first year and they have some significant kinks to work out.
