  • Comments: Not on time only because of heavy fog and strong current during swim, spent two hours extra on ferry boat. Excellent job by race organizer to keep race safe and moving.

  • Comments: This is a great revenue and a well run race. Logistics were more challenging this year as they doubled the number of racers. There was some waiting around but it's amazing they get that many people to jump off a boat safely. Waited around for AG awards and did not realize I won Grand Masters division - had never heard of it actually.

  • Comments: Fantastic event. I loved it. Jumping off the ferry is really cool and makes for a unique event. Looking forward to next year.

  • Comments: This was the 1st Escape the Cape in NJ and Delmonte Sports did an excellent job. It was a huge undertaking to get this organized and get 1,000 racers to jump safely of the ferry and swim in. Really a first class event, great atmosphere and these guys reality care about everyone having a great experience. Got my second podium (3rd) in the last two races which was fun. Would highly recommend this race.
