  • Comments: Medal weighs a ton. Expo was simply amazing. Beautiful course. Found myself wondering why some local races missed this route. Hilly, but fair as I said above. Medical tent ever two miles followed by water point .2 mi after that. Never saw a race with a medical tent every two miles. I can see how heat would be a problem after 9:30 or so, but through 10am it was under 70 and there was lots of shade (especially compared to the IM 70.3 run course) and it was very cool in the shadows of buildings downtown. So sad for the families of the two guys who passed away.
