  • Comments: Courses were too narrow for my large wave. Started near the back, so swim was like being in a washing machine. Run was tough and much slower that I hoped - couldn't get a consistent pace due to the short, steep hills. Overall, a well run race and decent, challenging course.

  • Comments: Great race I feel I trained very well for this. My first open water swim went very well. My training partner had a great race and beat me by 20seconds.

  • Comments: They mentioned the run is challenging - they weren't kidding. Great job too all the peeps out there who did either distance.

  • Comments: My other goal for the day was to finish in 1:45. My first race of the season was a similar distance and I finished in 1:48. I didn't feel like I was doing well for most of the race so when I finished and my family was going crazy because of my time, I was so psyched. Felt really good to have them there and felt really good to have improved my time so much!!! I am pretty excited about my times today.
