  • Comments: First race I have ever competed in that I knew so many people. It felt good not to be a stranger. We don't have family close by to come out and cheer so having the support all around was new and felt good. Team Posse may have gotten the best of the Weiners this day, but you can never keep a good Weiner down:)

  • Comments: I really like this race. Its well organized, lots of volunteers, seems to be well attended by athletes of all skill levels, I only have two critisims: 1 - As previously mentioned, I'd like to see some spacing buoys on the backstretch of the swim. 2- What happened to the water bottles? Last couple of years they gave out the best water bottles during the event..this year...cups of water on the bike....are we kidding here??? But then again, the goody bag did have a really cool tribag and how many events can you say that about!! It really is a great course and race and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to do their first Oly distance race.

  • Comments: A very well organized race. Everything from packet pick up to the finish line was very smooth. It would have been nice if there was a little something more to the expo though. Seemed kind of dinky. And one of these races I'll meet my fellow BT'ers!

  • Comments: My only suggestion for the future is I was surprised that food at the end of the race wasn't a little better unless I missed it.

  • Comments: As always, the town of Pleasant Prairie did a fantastic job. They left out the water bottle hand-up on the bike course this year...rumor has it the residents of the town got tired of bottle litter. But they did have and aid station with cups if you needed it...for this distance I think most people can carry thier own. Goodies are AWESOME! a nice technical type running shirt, a tri bag (can you believe that!) and a running hat. This will remain an annual rece for Mark and I. And the frosting that made the cake was having so many friends from BT to share the experience with. The weiners will be back!

  • Comments: I loved this race. I was a lot of fun. GREAT SWAG! What an awesome facility. Well run, very athlete-friendly. The course is really fun too because you go back and forth a lot so you get to see the other people, and your jockstrappers pretty often. I highly recommend it.

  • Comments: Great race. Decent setting and very well organized Only negatives were the Saturday bike check-in (a royal pain in the a$$), the very early start (transition closed at 6am) and the lack of a very good selection of food afterward. At $100, it's also a bit pricey.

  • Comments: Nice, organized race. Wish the Expo had been better. But - the venue is great and it's a good-sized race -- not too big, not too small.

  • Comments: There were lots of volunteers however, some of them weren't paying attention, and I had to ASK at more than one intersection on the bike... RIGHT turn? LEFT turn? They just were not watching for us or directing us where to go. Other than that, this was a really nice race... and the weather was perfect for it! Not too hot, and not too cold... even though the start of the bike was a little chilly, I'd rather be a bit too cold than a bit overheated. (!!!)
