  • Comments: Second year for the race. They are doing a good job and really want to make this work. They were under pressure form the city to clear out so they could open the rec area back up in time for the summer crowd, so they kept announcing to pack up and get out of transition if you were done. Not a great post-race atmosphere since we parked off-site and no one was going to pack their cars and come back down to the finish.

  • Comments: I was worried that this first year race would be unorganized. They did a really nice job. Plenty of volunteers too. The bike course is what it is and nothing they could do about the fog delay (Bigfoot was the same day and their oly swim was shortened to 750 m)
