  • Comments: This is a great race. Very organized and well supported both pre-race and during. They had shirts at the expo that had all the pre-registered names on them for $20. The shirts that came with your race registration were a dry-fit tech style, the promo shirts were a cotton/poly blend you could wear anytime which was pretty cool. This is a great race for anyone wishing to travel to K.C. for.

  • Comments: I'm not necessarily a fan of the big post race carnival/expo atmosphere but this was lacking a bit, good band and well organized but not a lot of food and drink choices. Although the free Science City entry for the whole family was awesome.

  • Comments: A well organized, solid, popular spring half-marathon. Post-race food was a bit under-whelming. Liked the band. A massive medal. I know that's the big trend with races now, but unnecessary for me.

  • Comments: The only issue I really had was the lack of good choices for post race food. They had frozen custard and peanuts and chocolate milk (thank god), but nothing truly of substance. No bread, bananas, etc. however I have done this race almost every year since it started and it still ranks as one of my favorite. I will continue coming back.

  • Comments: The volunteers and race organizers did a great job. I had a great time, the race itself is pretty fantastic, and I'll definitely be back in the future! A great early season race!
