  • Comments: This has all the making of a very fast PR course if the weather cooperated. The event is well organized but with the increased field size they need to make some adjustments to thin out the crowds on the swim and bike. The aid stations ran out of ice after I finished, and while that did not affect me, it affected members of my crew who really could have used ice on the second loop of the run. The swag is nice (medal, shirt, finishers hat) and the F2C booth with recovery drinks at the finish expo was much appreciated. Overall this was a good event and I'd do it again if not for the eight hour drive.

  • Comments: Remind me never to do a flat bike course again. That was really brutal. There's nothing you can do about the heat - except maybe start earlier than 9am. Canada Multisport did a good job but I'm sure they learned a lot - like don't run out of ice at miles 8-12 of the run. I'm not sure how much influence Rev3 had - but I would have liked to seen more.

  • Comments: This is a very nice race & I'd recommend it. It's especially confidence-building for a first HIM because of the swim venue. The bike course is flat but I guess it's always windy, sometimes much worse that today. The run has those little hills but they're small compared to those on some courses. Running past the magnificent falls is pretty spectacular, although being on the slow end of the race I was at times barging through crowds of oblivious visitors. I was very pleased that I was able to execute my race pretty well according to our pacing strategy and am happy both with my time and with the depth of exertion I uncovered in myself.

  • Comments: This was an excellent race and would definitely do it again. Everything was very well organized, information was very easy to find and the venue was great. The run course is pretty neat, going right by Niagara Falls twice. The swim was in a good location with good clean water. The bike was flat and fast if that's your thing.
