• Comments: The first part of the run just needs to be marked a bit better. There are a few turnoffs, and though they marked the trail with pink arrows sprayed in the dirt, they were partially covered by the time I came through.

• Comments: This was a women's only triathlon and an Anchorage tradition. Lots of first time triathletes on the course and a very warm, inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend it as a first triathlon for anyone! Definitely felt different than some of the other tri's I have participated in! All the volunteers rocked! One note - I hate pool swims and with a late bib number I didn't even get to start till almost 4pm. After waiting on deck for close to an hour, when it finally was my turn I think my motivation had waned! I hate pool swims.....
