• Comments: This is a pretty good race. Throwing the color things at people didn't really appeal to me, but a lot of others liked it. The only issue I have with this race director is that too often the biking gets into traffic. We're literally riding on a shoulder of a farm to market road with cars passing us on the left in the main lane. ????? There were cops at the intersections but it just isn't enough. There needs to be more clearly marked off biking areas. Plus, areas of the shoulder had debris and mud all over them...meaning no effort was made to make sure it was clear for biking. I'd do it again, but I think it takes away from the quality of the race. Also, the volunteers seemed a bit too young and generally unenthusiastic compared to what I'm used to.
