  • Comments: I give this race a 10/10. Everything from the volunteers to the sponsors, food, really everything was top top notch. I can see why this is the premier race in the country and can't thank the city of Milwaukee and everyone that made this event possible enough. Hopefully I'll be fortunate to go back again next year and finish the Olympic race!

  • Comments: I still have work to do at this distance. I was pleased with my times, but was about 3 minutes slower than last year. Although I definitely felt better on the bike this year than last year, I believe the stronger headwind slowed me down. On the run, I might have been able to push through the middle tough miles, but since I was racing the Sprint on Sunday, I wanted to be a little conservative. I was pleased with placing just below mid-pack both in age group and overall, given that the best in the country were racing her (and had to qualify to do so). The race is extremely well organized with plenty of volunteers. The waves start on time and the course is closed to traffic and clearly marked. I hope to qualify again next year and race in both events again.

  • Comments: This was a great experience and worth the hassle of getting there. Best swim venue I've seen. Fun to go up against top competition even if it is a little humbling, could see many areas for improvement having done it once.
