  • Comments: I figured I would have to go under 6 hours to podium. With the 6:32 I wasn't even paying attention to the standings even though we hung out until the very last person finished. My wife did say I wasn't in last place which I guess was good. Turns out I got 4th out of 11. Here is the kicker though...in the past this race always had an under 40 Clydesdale and an over 40. For some reason the combined them this year. If they had still been separate I would have been in 1st as I beat all of the other over 40 Clydesdale's. This was a great race though and I will probably do it again next year.

  • Comments: Race was wonderful, they couldn't control the weather (rain the entire race). Plenty of volunteers and very willing to do whatever the athletes needed. It rained even harder when I got done, so I didn't stick around for any after race activities. Pizza was okay. I'm not a beer drinker. I would definitely do this race again.
