  • Comments: This was my first OLY and I wanted to do it as a training race for my HIM in August. I'd like to do several more OLY's, and after the HIM, I may focus on the shorter races. I don't know if I'll do this again next year due to a possible backpacking trip.

  • Comments: This is a great race. The volunteer support is incredible, lots of cheering, and people stationed at every cross road to halt traffic. There were signs on the roads cautioning drivers about cyclists. Aid stations at every mile on the run, which was really nice. Good schwag--tshirt, water bottle, nice socks, hammergel and endurolytes. I was expecting 3:20 or so, so was very pleased with my time. If only I had run just a *tiny* bit faster I could have come in under 3:00! This was my second tri, first oly. Though I know it's a whole nother ball game, I now feel much more confident about my HIM in August.

  • Comments: Great race, great volunteers, only real complaint was that as sweetie finished they were just starting the awards and all of the "good" athletes and fans were crowding the finsh area so that she could barely get accross the line, I will be sending a comment to the RD on that one. What a great time though.

  • Comments: I really enjoyed it. Would have come much closer to my goal if I'd had a better swim. But I'm really happy to have this one under my belt. Hey...my first race!!! Everything is a PR!!! Whooo Hooo!!
