  • Comments: This is a fun local race with a great vibe. It would be fantastic as someone's first race. For experienced athletes, it is a good chance at a PR in the sprint distance. The course tends to be fast. RD is awesome. He knows everyone's name (even if it is your first year racing with him) and cheers like heck for everyone the whole race.

  • Comments: Nice, small race with associated kids races for families. It was a little late in starting (prerace meeting started five minutes after race was supposed to start). Several volunteers didn't show, so they were a little light on volunteers. Overall, it is a nice race in a good environment. Awards are given to top three in all categories. RD seems to know everyone's name, which is pretty cool when you don't know a lot of people in the race and you hear someone calling your name.
