Comments: Volunteers at LP are top notch! I love this race. Many would complain about the cold but I race much better in cold than I do heat, so personally it suits me.

Comments: IM did a great job with the weather curveball. Warming tents were a great idea and the one in the swim transition was super effective. Allowing athletes to stay in the water also helped. I love this venue and was stoked to only have to do one loop-especially on the B and R.

Comments: A lot of DNS and DNF: 2908 were listed but only 2060 finished: 848 did not complete the event for whatever reason. I'm very much looking forward to doing this race again in 2018!

Comments: Already planning to do it next year. Great race! the weather was a big element in this race, felt weird to be wearing my x-country layers for a triathlon. next year, I need to stick to my fuel plan (and actually bring it on the run).
