  • Comments: There were more spectators this year than last. I did lotsa runs with music but I forgot it and ended up not needing it. The race itself is well organized. Volunteers were great. Course is not to be taken lightly.

  • Comments: Tenth year for what has become something of an iconic course, from Dodger Stadium to the beach in Santa Monica. Decent crowd support. Manages to take in a remarkable number of LA sights along the course.

  • Comments: This is a good race to test your ability to hold yourself back the first few miles of a marathon due to the hills early on. The long descent near the end is a nice way to finish strong and fast.
