Comments: This was the 3rd time I did the race at the same location, previously in 2016 and 2017. However at that time I was new to the sport and didn't want to run more than 5 km so I did the short course (swim 500 m, run 4 km) instead. I did my first 10 km running race late 2017 since then I did the long course in local aquathons every time.
In terms of percentile, this was by best race in both overall ranking and swim split, but my run split (52%) was much worse than when I was a beginner in 2016 (38%). My running speed was slower than back in 2016 as well, although my swim speed was improved REALLY a lot (I performed at about 33.5 minutes for 1.5 km OWS races earlier this year)
