  • Comments: Keep in mind, my overall placement is against Men AND Women. I won First Place Overall Female(for the second year :) )!!! This is a small race, but I love it. It is the one that started it all for me back in 2004. I always try to race it every year because it was my very first triathlon. I am so happy about the improvements in my run. And I know as the season progresses I will get faster and faster. Very pleased with my performance considering the weather and the fact that this was a tiring week for me. I'm a very happy. Today is my daughter's 7th birthday. The whole time on the run course I was thinking that this year was so much more fun than seven years ago and a lot less painful;)

  • Comments: Of course this race gets a best vote for me since this is the first time I have ever won overall. I'm so happy that I won this particular event because back in 2004, this was my first triathlon ever. I finished BOP then. Just goes to show what training and experience (and a really nice tri bike) can do.

  • Comments: Your race number does not reflect your swim time...ie I was race # 23, but I was probably the 50th swimmer to enter the pool, usually in a pool swim # 1 goes first etc, not in this race...it was a little confusing, but they made it work.

  • Comments: This was my first tri of the season. I started the race wanting to finish in 1:10. I finished in 1:07:17, so I am incredibly happy. I felt awesome on the bike. I didn't feel too bad on the run. I just wish the running fairy would visit me and grant me more speed.
