  • Comments: I really like this race for a number of reasons. It is close, it is not too easy or hard, there is great volunteer and spectator participation and this year they had a fantastic shirt/medal featuring the solar eclipse. The weather is borderline tolerable, generally.

  • Comments: This was my first tri, so my opinions should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. But I enjoyed it, and I'm hooked. Hope to do it again next year and have set an ambitious goal of sub three hours.

  • Comments: Very nice course. Extremely well organized. It was a definite challenge for me. This has been my first year ever doing triathlons and to complete an Olympic distance triathlon is a major milestone. I was impressed with how I stood up to adversity and finished with all that happened (a cold and lack of nutrition). I'm definitely going to race this next year and I know I'll perform MUCH better!!!!

  • Comments: What a race!! The venue is unmatched. Great with spectators all along T1 and on club house balcony. TONS of helpers and signs everywhere. I think they had a volunteer/cops at EVERY TURN...that is not normal. Lots of water stations with MULTIPLE kids/adults. Transition site could use an isle to get to the exits from back corners instead of through other peoples transition spot.

  • Comments: Great event, lots of volunteers, lots of spectators and the venue is absolutely beautiful. There are parts of the bike that are not closed so you have to be alert. Plenty of troopers, police support and volunteers to help. First class event. Got to give a shout out to https://www.acropolistech.com who didn't make too much fun of me when I would swim, bike or run on my lunch hours.

  • Comments: Fun race. Suprised at the disparity in distances, but a shorter run? Who can argue with that? The build-up, the training, meeting BT friends and doing this all "together" is what mattered to me. I am proud to say I am a Olympic-distance triathlete! I put some more pix in my albums section. Good times, good memories.
