  • Comments: 5th year of the race and my 3rd time. Love this race. Great park (I get to run here frequently since I work in KOP), good organization, lots of support, TV trucks and Cicelly Tyson the Channel 6 weather person was 4th overall female (dusted me by 5 minutes). They shuttle you to and from the park which limits traffic effectively, and cool awards. Only downside is the roads are pretty narrow and are packed with nearly 1200 runners which can make things frustrating early on. However, I still highly recommend this race.

  • Comments: Good race. 4th year 1067 finishers on the run, plus several hundred walkers for the 3 mile walk and plenty of kids for the kids race. Great course although still cramp for the number of runners. But as long as the majority of folks seed themselves properly it works out pretty well. It was funny having a British race director in Valley Forge on Patriot's day weekend reading the ride of Paul Revere, but he accnolgdged than and had a red shirt to boot. Good race, I'd reccommend it.

  • Comments: This really is a great race for a family. My five year old had a great time at all the booths, including the Norristown Zoo, while she waited for me to get across the finish. I will run this race again.

  • Comments: Very well done race except there's only one water station on the whole route. Probably too much to ask to have one at each mile (not really needed at first mile anyway), but would've been nice if there had been at least one more. Tough course too, with the hills (for me, anyway); requires a firm hand on the pacing or you can blow yourself out.

  • Comments: The level of participation for a 2nd year event is amazing. Announce at 1200 signed up for the run, another 400 or so signed up for the 3 mile walk and alot of kids for the 1 mile kids run. Parking and shuttling service was great and managed the flow of traffic great, easy in and out. Valley Forge is a great place to run and bike and this event supports the park and trail system.

  • Comments: This was the race's first year. I think that if they run it again, it'll be even better. Overall though, I think it was a good race, nice course, no real issues. Only started about 5-10 minutes late.
