  • Comments: Only a couple of issues - it was supposed to rain all day, so I packed lots of clothes - none of which were needed. It rained for about 15 minutes, then the sun came out. Only other issue was my speedplay pedals - I've had them two years with zero problems - I think walking through the mud today messed them up, and I had real issues getting clipped in and out. Finally figured out that if I walked through the water puddles, I could get in and out OK. I need to work on that - a real challenge at the stoplights.... Big improvement over last year - Last year I had to walk 3 times on the uphill of Cherokee Road - this year NO WALKING!!! Cut about 16 minutes off my overall time this year.
