  • Comments: We've done three races this year hosted by Pirannah and they're all run well. There were a lot of friendly volunteers at the race. They closed the transition area pretty quickly after the race and we had to leave the awards ceremony to get our stuff out. Post race food was pretty good and no lines. It was also nice having real bathrooms (the bath houses in the state park). Overall, a great race! Really, any race with friends is a great race!!

  • Comments: I think Piranha puts on a pretty good show. They still have a think with making the bike in/out the same place. It's not fair to a all participants, but this is minor. The transition area was clsoing while they had the award ceremony and series raffle...kinda annoying.

  • Comments: pretty good race. great location and well organized. then again, they screwed up the transition area again. it's not rocket science. the bike entrance and exit are not supposed to be at the same end. if you put them at opposite ends, everyone has to carry their bike the same distance. also, they closed down the transition aread half way through the poest race awards so we had to leave to get our bikes, but other than that it was fine. not a big deal though. those are really just pet peeves of mine.

  • Comments: This was a nice way to end my first season. Only my 3rd race but from comparing to the other two I can see myself getting faster. Oh, Lindsey was first overall female first timer!

  • Comments: I thought this was the best race Piranha did this year. It had a very relaxed feel to it and was very friendly to the numerious first timers and novices. They did a very good job and everyone seemed to have a good time. Great location, the weather cooperated (especially after the torential rains of the previous days), and a very energizing ocean swim.

  • Comments: Good race overall. Thank you Piranha Sports for having enough porta pots at this one. Very different feeling location from the other two sprints I did this year. The bike had more than a few turns and the run course was unique. Great race to end the season.
