  • Comments: This is a tough race in my opinion. Very flat but boring. And running on top of the levee in Louisiana is a scorcher! The one thing that sucked was that they let the walkers start before the runners! So you had to dodge 100 people in the first 2 miles of the race. By the way, the levee is only about 10 feet wide. This was my first half, and it was pretty tough.
