• Comments: they need to put a timing mat at the edge of the water, i don't train my swim to have a beach run effect it. and don't have the finish line up a sidewalk and then have us race off the curb to the parking lot to cross it. other than those things it was an awesome race, cool pearl izumi technical shirt. i'm doing it again on the 30th! i am very proud of my swim time, the fact that i know how to change a tire and did so, the fact that i did this solo.

• Comments: the water stations on the run were self serve which wouldn't have been bad if the the cups were filled (i'm sure they were at start but no more when i got there) so i wasn't stopping to pour my water then drink it. always a good fun relaxed setting to literally get your feet wet!

• Comments: This was a bunch of fun. I wish I were doing the next two, but I'll have to wait 'til September. Also, I met charder while waiting for my swim to go off. Hope to catch him around town. Update - Many did not calc a bike split. No way I was actually 4th ag on the bike. To even it up, i figured everyone who beat me overall beat me on each leg. Probably not accurate, but ok.
