  • Comments: Ive done this race with various coolrunning and kickrunner peeps since 2006. Its riding in a van with 5-6 peeps for 30ish hours of no sleep, lotsa of running and lotsa beer at the end..Its always a great experiance but this year in particular my van mates (Notey, Oache, Nnej, RNYC and Heater) rocked!!!.. No drama!! Woohoo!! (well except for the visit to the ER)!!...makes it soooo much more fun!

  • Comments: A very demanding race which puts alot of responsibility on your team mates. My team was great, we had no problems what so ever. I did see alot of team having problems and being very frustrated. Also being in van #1 was good. Even through the running legs were longer, I finished at 10:30am on Saturday where our last runner came across the finiah line around 4:00p.

  • Comments: this was an awesome race that I highly recommend to all!!! well organized on the race direction and with the volunteers. the other teams were great also. The van 1 team was fabulous. we all had a great sense of humor which helped throughout the race. we named people/teams based on their running style, clothes, van... you name it. it was so much fun. And van 2, although we didn't spend a lot of time with them, was also great and supportive!

  • Comments: An amazing experience - I'm glad I tried this once. Not sure if I have the energy and desire to do it again, but it has inspired me to try longer distance running. I can't begin to explain the sense of teamwork and encouragement that comes from forming close bonds with your van-mates over the course of 33 hours. You laugh, cry, shout, fight, corroborate, plan, strategize, console and tease each other to the point of exhaustion. By the end of Saturday, you and your van and all of your clothes smell to high heaven, but you feel like you really have accomplished something big - a run covering hundreds of miles!!
