  • Comments: Even with the flat tire it was a fun race. It was pretty well organized. I heard some gripes about the run course markings etc. not sure what the problem was. Too bad about the flat tire, in my age group I was 1st in the swim and 2nd in the run. A big "what if" had I not gotten the flat. An age group top 3 would have been NICE given this was only my 2nd triathlon.

  • Comments: There were apparently some issues with race course markings and some people were thrown off. I did the course in practice so had no issues but I can see where they could go wrong. I'm also skeptical about the results as some of the times and/or distances were surely off. There was definitely nothing flashy about this race (everyone had the same color race cap regardless of wave, etc) but I didn't really care all that much. I would consider doing this race again but I'm not sure it's the best value for the $ out there.

  • Comments: The website was down the night before the race so maps were not available. It appeared there were very few volunteers. The setup was done well. The aid stations were manned, but there weren't enough people on the course to help (at course turn arounds).
