  • Comments: had a faster time than last year. didn't place this year though. i was actually surprised that my time wasn't faster than it was since i ran the entire distance this time. maybe it was slower than it felt. :) overall i was happy with my performance considering my lack of recent training and injuries.

  • Comments: this was my first tri ever! i was happy to finish! i was bouncing off the walls when i found out i placed 3rd in my AG! i am now hooked on tri's!!!

  • Comments: Post race was awards. Since the overall winner was in my age group I got bumped to 3rd place (cheap way to get an award and I'll take it). Race gave out door prizes and I won 4 sets of resistance bands for upper body and 4 sets for lower body. Total price of the 8 sets of bands was about $120...all for a low entry fee of $35. JOY!!!! This was the 3rd Annual Lickity Splits Tri. Lickity Splits is the tri club in Rockford. It was a nice race. Look forward to them taking the next step and using chip timing. Everything was done off of total time.
