  • Comments: The event was a bit happhazard. It took them a bit to figure out I was pre-reged for it. There really wasn't a description of what was going to happen until just before the gun. Most of the competitors were asking eachother which buoy was which and was this a mass start or waves etc. In the end it all turned out OK but it was kindof like a high school health fair kind of race. I plan on doing it again next year though.

  • Comments: I like this race. Not a lot of OWS races around and this one is almost in my backyard. What's not to like?

  • Comments: The race started a bit late b/c of the poor packet pick up set up. They could fix that pretty easily. Overall, though, a great race. I think they need to check their GPS system, as the course had to be short. And they need a little bit more information passed to the racers. i.e. when they are starting, waves, awards, food, gatorade. All that stuff was provided, just hard to find.

  • Comments: nice to do it.. great experience, met WHizzzz and some others (we could use freaking name tags) and chatted a bit with Tony - Nice guy! hey just checked the race results - actually got 3rd in AG!

  • Comments: This is a pretty good race. Checking in could be run better and course the right distance would be nice. My wife mentioned it was odd there were no drinks/snacks set up. I thought it was odd too, although I had brought my own and didn't need anything. It was fun to do something right in my town. We have this swim and we have a half-marathon. We should have a tri. We could put on a good one, I'm thinking.
