  • Comments: Excellent race lot of fun volunteers did an excellent job very well run They also had FREE BEER I thought that was pretty cool. I didn't drink anything since I was driving. The only downside is the race is not spectator friendly at all. They lock the gates to the park at 6:00 am so if any family come to cheer you on after that they have to park at least 2.2 miles away. I told my husband not to come since we have 3 year old twins and they would've been very ansy.

  • Comments: We could have used more bathrooms. I had to wait like 20 minutes before swim. I guess with the relay races this day there were a lot more people, but they did have a lot of people at this triathlon as compared to others in general.

  • Comments: Great First Race! Definitely a good learning experience. Someone told me when I registered that I'd get more from my first race if I raced with the experienced Triathletes vs the novices. They were right. I must say that now I AM HOOKED!

  • Comments: Knew the run was going to be a disaster but I wanted to do it anyway. I love this race venue. I like to think if I had not had knee problems, I could have finished near the top of my age group. Oh well, there's always next year... :)

  • Comments: Really like this race. The cops did an awesome job with traffic. I only saw/interacted with 4 vehicles during my entire ride. These were all ones that had come out of neighborhoods into the middle of the course.

  • Comments: Sprints are fun. I don't feel wiped out after them. But I still think I'm better suited to longer races, or at least I enjoy them more. Maybe if I could knock a couple more minutes off my 5k that would change, but I doubt it. I just don't have that top end speed. Eh, it is what it is.

  • Comments: Great event. I even volunteered for the Sunday race (Sat was AG, Sun was Novice) and had a blast doing that. I probably should have raced Niovice, but oh well.
