  • Comments: This event is awesome. My not doing well was a result of my own lack of preparation, but the event organizers have a real winner here. I was discouraged during the race but determined to master that course. The bike was the crazy part and I know it wasn't the harddest course in the world but it is now on my mission to master list. I will definiely be there next year and would like to get to the Olympic distance in 2010.

  • Comments: If I do this next year I'll definitely not rely on the buses to get back to T1. Riding my bike would have been 3x as fast as the bus.

  • Comments: I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed this race, considering how long I've been worried about it! The LA Tri Club ended up winning the National Championship title, and it was really fun to not only participate but be able to contribute to the point count with a podium finish!
