  • Comments: Very fun race. Swim was easy with current. mass in water start. 1 wave. Bike trail is very cool and interesting. I had fun but was slow on the bike since my technical mountain biking skills need work. Other athletes were friendly on course working well with me when they needed to pass. Lots of encouragement from other athletes on bike course and on run. Even though I did not place well it was an enjoyable race.

  • Comments: Race was very well organized. Volunteers and police did a great job on all the intersections. Lucked out with some great weather.

  • Comments: the swim was the hilliest part of the race, very flat fast course. Lots of volunteers out everywhere and very well organized and run. Will probably do it again in the future if it fits my schedule.

  • Comments: Once the race got going volunteers were everywhere and were very helpful. The race features the coolest shirt I own out of the 75 race shirts I own. I will be back for sure.

  • Comments: I like this race. Now if they would just remove the jellyfish, cool the water so that it is wetsuit legal, and repave some of the roads it would be my favorite race.

  • Comments: Nice venue with perfectly located transition zone. We stayed at the host hotel righ next door to transition zone which was very nice and convenient. Good ocean swim, bike and run courses. I will definitely be back!

  • Comments: Overall I had a good time. People were friendly, the weather was hot and humid but no rain and I finished second in my age group (Out of three). Parking was good, the transition area was nice and the approximately 200 people is a nice size for a race. One of the swim waves had too many people, but mine was good. As usual the bike was my best event and the run was my worst.
