• Description: It gives me great pleasure to introduce a new look programme for this year's Festival. As promised, we have taken a fresh look at old traditions and we hope that this year's programme builds on the spirit of Festivals past to appeal to an even wider audience than ever before.
  
  In addition to a packed programme of creative, sporting, cultural and community events, we are delighted to present a reworked childrens' programme with a whole new line up of indoor and outdoor activities, a raft of events specifically tailored to older kids and teenagers, three artists in residence and a number of week long `creative challenge' projects which are introduced on the next couple of pages.
  
  The Aberdour Festival celebrates its 24th Birthday this year. It is an enormous undertaking for a group of volunteers and huge thanks go to everyone who has helped with their time, energy and financial support.
