• Description: Miller Park Zoological Society (MPZS) is gearing up for its 15th annual Miller Park Zoo Stampede. This 5K run, 3K walk, and ¼ mile fun run (for children 10 and under), is the first on the Lake Run Club (LRC) circuit for the year, and a favorite for Zoo and running enthusiasts.
  
  The 5K winds through Miller Park and the adjoining neighborhood, and is accurately measured and electronically timed by the LRC. It is mostly flat with a few rolling hills. The 5K race starts at 10:00 am, followed by the 3K walk. The first 200 registered 5K and 3K participants will receive a t-shirt. The ¼ mile fun run starts at 9:30 am, and everyone receives a medal. All participants are invited to stop back at the Zoo to visit the animals!
