• Description: Located in the heart of Lynchburg, VA this early season pool sprint is one of the few urban venues in the VTS lineup. A 300 meter swim is followed by some urban riding to take athletes to the open rolling bike course along the James river. This out and back course is fast with some technical sections and short steep climbs. The first and last miles of the run take athletes through scenic downtown Lynchburg with the middle mile on local bike paths. Save some energy for the last climb coming back into town so you can look great running across the finish line in downtown Lynchburg!
