• Description: The swim takes place in a placid reservoir surrounded by a pretty forest. Many participants say it is one of the prettiest open water swims around. The bike course is two loops on a course through Hopkinton and Ashland with some nice hills, and includes a section on the famous Boston Marathon course. (The town of Ashland was where the original Boston Marathon had started). Bike support is provided by Fitwerx. The run is an out and back course along scenic roads and rolling terrain.
