  Formerly the Flowertown Run, The 2013 Shamrock Shuffle is a St. Patrick’s Day celebration run for family, friends and individuals. The Shamrock Shuffle offers both 10K, 5K run or walk, and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Continuing a tradition of excellence, this year’s run has earned the reputation as one of the most popular family runs in the community. With all proceeds benefiting the Summerville Family YMCA, the purpose of the run is to help youth and adults at all levels improve and enjoy walking/running in addition to learning goal setting, sportsmanship and proper methods of reaching a high level of fitness. A community sponsored event, the 2013 Shamrock Shuffle can serve as a training tool for any one of the numerous spring races in the tri-county area.
