I have my first tri coming up on the 9th of August I want to know how much I should train on race week and when do I stop completely...the day before or two days before?
Getting your taper right is the final component to your race day preparation. Finding the right mix between absorbing the training, resting and still feeling sharp is the key. This process takes some trial and error to find what works for each athlete, but there are some basic principles you should adhere to.
