Many athletes face the challenge of putting in quality bike time during the winter. Spin classes are a popular way to meet this challenge. Spin classes can easily be worked into your own schedule.

"I live in a very cold climate so cycling (-32) today is out of the question for 3-4 months of the year. I do attend spin classes regularly and wanted to know if I can incorporate them and how one incorporates spin classes into a winter maintenance program to get the most out of them?"

Many athletes face the challenge of putting in quality bike time during the winter. Spin classes are a popular way to meet this challenge. With a little thought and planning, spin classes can easily be worked into your own training schedule.

The first thing to consider when working in some spin classes is the simple weekly planning. Classes are usually offered on a daily basis, but choose a set schedule, say every Tuesday and Thursday. This will allow you to have a consistent schedule from week to week. [.....]
