and creates a 4-28 week personal training plan.
What else do the plans come with?
When you create a plan, you will be able to 'import' it into your planned training log. Your imported plan will have:
Workout details and descriptions of how to do the sets
VIDEOS: All drills will be linked to a video demonstrating the drill
You will have RPE and Heart-rate data so that you stay within the prescribed training zones for an effective workout
The end of your plan will have links to Race Day execution articles
How many plans can I create?
As many as you need for your season. If your season or goals change you can create a new plan.
How long does creating a plan take?
Filling out your background information will take about a minute. Generating your plan will take under 30 seconds.
Is this 'really' a custom training plan?
It sure is. Though our workout progression follow some basic principles, the plan that is generated is fully dependent on your pace, race date and ability level. No 'canned' plans here. This application is database-driven and uses many formulas that we have created from our successful free plans over the last five years.
How do I use this plan?
After you create the training plan, you will 'import' it into your training log - essentially 'sending' it to your 'planned training log'. From there you can print out calendar views and also view the workout details in your planned blog/calendar/week/month views. There are many different ways to view a training plan from your log.
You will also be able to get your workouts emailed to you daily.
Can I still customize the plan after I created it and it's in my training log?
Sure. If you have created a training plan and imported it into your training log but mid-plan your schedule changes, you can use our planned calendar/week view to easily 'move' workouts around to suit your schedule.
So if I signup for the Gold membership, what happens next?
You will get an email and a private message here with instructions on using or modifying your plan once it's generated. You will also get instructions on how to use the other features of the site as you also get the Silver plans and all of the Bronze training log features.
