Triathlon Business International, which recently held its annual conference, announced a number of awards this week, including the Triathletes Choice Best-of Events.
Large Event Winner
For large events of 1,000 participants or more, IRONMAN Lake Placid was voted Triathletes' Choice Best of.
Small Event Winner
For small events of 1,000 participants or fewer, the Patriot Half Triathlon in East Freetown, Mass., was selected. This event is produced by Sun Multisport Events.
Best Bucketlist Winner
The "Best Bucketlist" race is IRONMAN World Championship, Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.
Best Beginners Event
The race voted "Best Event for Beginners" was Tri the Wildwoods in North Wildwood, NJ, produced by DelMo Sports.
