We have rescued a poor, downtrodden soul from the evil corporate dungeons. Here is our first full-time programmer.
Thanks to the tremendous support from the BT community the past 2 years, we have been able to hire our first full-time programmer. The site has grown immensely and in order to keep up with user recommended features and other cool things, we had to have a programmer of our own.
Mike, aka Marmadaddy, has been helping BT on a very part-time basis the past two years on some programming features on support and now he will be responsible for development of a slew of enhancements we plan to do in 2008 and beyond.
I just finished a trip this weekend to deliver some hardware. We spent a lot of time going over and prioritizing the new features that you all have asked for and planning the 2008 programming. The BT community will start to see the fruits of his labors in the next few months as we start churning out even more features.
And again, this wouldn't have been able to happen without the support of the entire BT community. It's the members that enable us to provide the support needed to keep giving you more of what you want year after year.
Who is Mike? Well, Mike is user #1993. He came on here several years ago as a site user. I didn't really know him at all except for the fact that he helped out on his own on a lot of the technical training log questions before I was able to get to them. He officially contacted me about two years ago to see if I needed any extra help. I did and he has been doing part-time stuff ever since.
Without Mike, I would have lost my sanity a long time ago and who knows if BT would still be here today. I can't thank him enough for the time he has put in and the devotion he has to the site.

Stop by and congratulate him in his training log.
